Urban Roots is a community led environmental and health improvement organisation, based in Toryglen but with projects across the Southside from Castlemilk to Greater Pollok We work with local communities through volunteer projects, schools and with groups on: - community food - growing, cooking, eating; - biodiversity and conservation projects - improving greenspaces, by making places more attractive for people and wildlife - sustainable lifestyles - workshops on cycling, creative re-use, energy efficiency, herbal remedies and more...
