Dunblane Development Trust - Dementia Friendly Dunblane
/Dunblane Development Trust was established in 2003 as a membership based community company. with charitable status. Many successful projects have been carried out by the volunteers of 7 working groups.
Dementia Friendly Dunblane was set up in 2017 and successfully runs three Meeting Centres for individuals with dementia and their care partners. Dunblane became a dementia friendly town in 2022 and supports individuals with dementia and their care partners to live a fulfilling life in a supported community.
Dementia Friendly Dunblane’s activities include The Braeport Memory Cafe, weekly soup runs, and befriending services. Our purpose is creating an inter-generational dementia friendly community.
