Peace Of Mind Cumbernauld

Peace of Mind is a drop in constituted group, based in the Muirfield Centre Cumbernauld.

Their aim is to help and support adults who suffer, or are affected in any way, by depressions and related mental health issues. As well as offering a service that provides peer support, bringing its members out of possible loneliness and isolation to help build self-confidence and self-esteem. The group strive on raising awareness to the community of the problems that mental ill health causes and help to eradicate the stigma of mental health issues.

The group offers a safe space to meet new people and feel part of the community. The group is held every two weeks on a Monday at the centre which is open 12pm- 2pm. Members of the group have access to refreshments and activities such as arts and crafts and games.
