Macmillan Move More Moray

Taking part in physical activity during and after cancer treatment can play a huge part in enabling people to take back control. It can help prevent and manage the effects of treatment such a fatigue, depression and risks to heart health.

If you are living with cancer in Moray, Move More Moray (a Moray Council/ Macmillan service) offers activities with 12 weeks free of charge. Activities range from gardening, walking groups, group exercise (circuits) to gentle movement (like Tai Chi) sessions.

It doesn’t matter if you have never been a particularly active person; there is something for everyone regardless of where you are in your cancer journey. Move More Moray classes are open to everyone, whether you are going through treatment or have long finished.

You can even bring along a friend or relative to some activities. You can meet others with similar experiences and share your support, as well as help one another stay positive.
