Next steps

Although we believe our four key actions are required and deliverable, they are part of an ongoing, broader conversation about Scotland’s health inequalities.

Despite the social, and economic factors behind health inequalities being widely recognised, what isn’t talked about enough is that political decisions ultimately create our economy and society.  As organisations such as Joseph Rowntree Foundation have stated, poverty is not inevitable and its underlying causes can be tackled.

We would encourage anyone interested in this area of our work to get in touch with us and discuss any ideas you have of how we can work together to make these actions real and help build a fairer, healthier Scotland for everyone.
