Get your social enterprise activity on the menu in 2023
/CHEX network members with a social enterprise element to their work are invited to apply to have their services added to a programme of activities around mental health which will be on offer as part of this year’s Community Wellbeing Exchange.
What’s the Community Wellbeing Exchange?
Social Enterprise Scotland, Scottish Communities for Health and Wellbeing (SCHW) and CHEX are collaborating for another year on a project to support community organisations in addressing emerging mental health & wellbeing needs within their community. The programme is funded through Scottish Community Alliance’s Pockets and Prospects fund.
It will enable community organisations across Scotland to purchase a wide range of mental health & wellbeing focused activities and services supplied by social enterprises and third sector organisations - and that’s where you come in!
The fundamental premise is that we are producing a ‘programme of activities’ - or a menu - which will be available for community-based organisations to purchase from. All the activities and services will aim to address mental health & wellbeing needs – these could be in relation to the needs of community-based organisations’ workforce, the people who access their services or the wider community.
This will be a ‘pick and mix’ programme offering a diverse range of activities which aim to address the local needs identified and should consider the additional support and opportunities the community-based organisations require in order to successfully address their local issues.
How do we get added to the menu?
