Alternative Pathways to care - Survey
/The Scottish Parliament’s Health, Social Care and Sport committee have published a survey for people to give their experiences of alternative pathways to primary care, which could include,among other things, many community-led health activities and anything termed social prescribing.
The committee have launched an inquiry in to Alternative pathways in to Primary Care and are keen to hear from as many people as possible about their knowledge of and experience of using these alternative pathways.
This means things like seeing a different health practitioner like a physiotherapist or a podiatrist rather than visiting a GP. It may also relate to “social prescribing” and the use of community based support.
